Reward and Interim Reward & Benefits Management
- Paula has over 35 years’ experience in Reward in organisations across a range of sectors including retail, distribution, financial services and transport, working across the private sector, public sector and consultancy.
- Her expertise spans HR and reward strategy, pay and grading structures, short and long term incentives, executive remuneration including remuneration committee support, share schemes, pensions, benefits, employee engagement, industrial relations, performance management, M&As and post acquisition integration.
- Paula has led and delivered significant reward programmes in a change environment, established reward frameworks and advised on complex and contentious reward related issues.
- Paula’s in-house experience includes Reward Director/Head of Reward roles at Home Retail Group (owner of Argos and Homebase) and Network Rail as well as a range of HR roles at Reality Group and Bradford & Bingley. She has also been an associate for the consultancy QCG (now part of Innecto).
- Through her consultancy work she has advised a range of clients including National Highways, DfT, HS2, DfTO, Stark UK, Sage Housing, RCN, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the General Optical Council.
- Paula is a Charted Fellow of the Institute of Personnel & Development, and Trustee & Chair of the Remuneration Committee for the Railway Benefit Fund charity.
